Look at how rich the emulsion is, how quickly it absorbs, whether it is fragranced, and the size of the area you intend to cover.
Richness
The proportion of oils to water sets how rich a cream feels. Richer creams suit dry skin and colder months; lighter ones suit daily use under clothes.
Fragrance
Fragrance is a personal call, but it is worth checking whether it comes from essential oils or from a fragrance blend, especially if you react to either.
